Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We can now accept Credit Card, Debit Card payments via a secure server which encrypts the information before sending across the internet. Cards we accept, (MasterCard / Visa / Visa Delta / Solo / Switch/Maestro).

We continue to accept credit card payment through PayPal, Nochex, and can also take payment details over the phone.

If you are shopping from outside of the United Kingdom, simply place your order and the Payment Service Provider you use will convert the transaction from your own currency into UK pounds..

Details of the transaction will appear on your card statement.

Once you have placed your order, please do contact us if you wish to change any items or amounts. Adding to orders may not always be possible, and may delay your order, but we will always try to assist where possible.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

All prices are in GBP £ pounds sterling and include VAT at 17.5% where appropriate. Books and magazines are Zero rated for VAT.

We reserve the right to alter any prices and terms and conditions at any time.

Paying By Cheque
Please place your order through the website, and select 'Pay by Cheque' when prompted for a payment method.

Cheques should be made payable to "Crystals and Ice".

On the back of your cheque please write your name and address, the cheque guarantee card number, expiry date and the cheque guarantee value.

Please enclose a copy of your order when posting your cheque to us.

Promotions / Discount Codes
Where a promotion / discount code has been given, you need to enter the code exactly as it appears in the advertisement. This code will be valid for the period of time stated on the advertisement or on this website, and will give the customer the advertised percentage off their order.

Shipping And Handling UK Postage is calculated as follows:

£1.25 for orders up to £15.00 (incl. VAT)
£2.25 for orders up to £25.00 (incl. VAT)
£3.25 for orders up to £50.00 (incl. VAT)
Free postage on orders over £50.00 (incl. VAT)

Outside UK
Postage costs for Europe, America and the Rest of the World are calculated on actual postage. Please place your order and pay by your preferred method. A separate Paypal Payment Request will be issued for the correct shipping costs for your order.
Delivery Schedule Once we have received your order, it will be placed in the queue and processed and picked as soon as possible.

We aim to post out all orders with 24 hours, but this may take longer at busy periods, so please do bear with us.

We aim to raise international postage invoices within 2 days and issue a payment request at the same time.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders

We will try to advise you of any out of stock items when we receive your order, but we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.

Unfortunately on occasion some items are unavoidably out of stock, before we have had a chance to update the website, and when we do not have a confirmed restock date, we cancel that part of the order and refund for those items.

If we know an item is due in to us in a few days we will back order, charge, and send out when it comes in, carriage free of charge* . We endeavour to email you with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

If we do not have a good idea of when an item will be back in stock, we will ask you to reorder.

* Carriage free of charge applies on UK back orders only.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website using PayPal or Nochex, all payment details are securely handled by PayPal or Nochex, and we do not have access to your financial details.

We are happy to accept credit/debit card details over the phone for processing the payment of orders, and we immediately shred any details given to us over the phone once payment has been processed. We do not keep details of cards on paper file or computer for future orders.

Sizes and Measurements
All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make them as accurate as possible.

Pack quantities are approximate, but we try to ensure that the minimum pack quantity/ weight is achieved on average.

Whilst we do our best to remove any misshapen or imperfect items during the packaging process, we cannot ensure that all items in the pack will be 100% perfect.

Colour may vary from batch to batch.

Colours may fade over time if exposed to direct sunlight, perfume, heavy rubbing or water.

Semi-precious chips are actual semi-precious stones.

Sterling Silver (STS) is real Sterling Silver. Other references to e.g. amethyst, copper, gold, silver etc. are only descriptive of the colour and the products may not actually be made of the material.

Antique is a description of a product that looks antique, and is not an indication of the product's age.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

Please contact us within 2 or 3 working days if you have received any damaged, faulty or incorrect products, which we will happily replace.
