Lovely flowing multi-strand necklaces and lariats can be made simply by threading beads onto strands of beading thread and knotting in place with an overhand knot.
Instead of a buying a multistrand clasp, why not try finishing each strand off with a knot and a dab of glue inside of a calotte and attaching the ends together with a jump or split ring and clasp of your choice..
