There's no reason why jewellery made with plated findings shouldn't be as expertly finished as sterling and gold jewellery pieces, and that's why we've introduced silver plated and gold plated wire guardians and crimp covers into our inventory.
Crimp covers and wire guardians are very easy to use and are practical as well as professional looking.
String on a wire guardian before crimping either end of your necklace or bracelet and you'll help protect the stringing material from wear and tear, as well as firming and supporting the loop in elegant plated metal.
The crimp covers are even easier to use, as you crimp as normal, and then gently close a crimp cover over the whole of the crimp to protect against rough edges, and give the illusion of a metal bead. We recommend closing the cover with flat nose pliers to prevent any possible scratching of the metal. |
